One of a Kind Technology!

KCSL has been creating commercially successful, innovative solutions for over 25 years through its ongoing research and development. Based on its extensive experience in automatic spelling and grammar correction, thesauruses, categorization, summarization, automatic language detection, information retrieval, and other linguistic technologies, KCSL has created its newest breakthrough technology, NoBabel™ Translator.

NoBabel Translator eases the problem of human translators being unable to adequately cope with the rapidly increasing demand for translations. By integrating a number of proven linguistic and statistical technologies in a unique way, NoBabel automatically creates useable databases that in turn yield high quality translations. From its simple setup to its output of Translation Memories (TMs), NoBabel’s processes are completely automated.

The setup includes an automated document matching and sentence alignment of past translations that requires virtually no human correction. The results have been verified to be of equal or better quality than had the same task been done with the extensive effort of qualified human translators.

With typically 99% accuracy, NoBabel's completely automated process can match documents in a matter of minutes, or at most hours of computer processing time, even with tens of thousands of documents. NoBabel accomplishes this by ignoring the document files' names, sizes, and dates; instead it thoroughly analyzes only the content of the documents. In addition, NoBabel's processes also create a combined Translation Memory (TM) and Term database that includes equally well aligned sentences, sub-sentence segments, and terms.

NoBabel translations are automatically generated using a unique system that judiciously integrates today's best Information Retrieval (IR), Machine Translation (MT), Translation Memory (TM), and CrossLanguage™ technologies. Since NoBabel does not rely exclusively on any one technology, it is able to compensate for the deficiencies of each, by simultaneously employing the strengths of the others. Consequently, NoBabel's Total leveraging generates Translation Units (TUs) which typically yield matches in the 75% to 100% range. Overall, expecially because NoBabel includes accurate translations of complex terminology, translators are able to spend significantly less time on a given translation than they would have previously.

As well, NoBabel is able to use information available on the Internet in creating its Translation Memory / Term databases. This unique ability of NoBabel further improves the quality of its translations.

While not all the concepts used to achieve NoBabel’s results are unique, the sophistication, the automated functionality, and the balance that have gone into their integration and implementation make the quality of NoBabel’s results unparalleled. This means that with NoBabel not only is the language quality high and the consistency across multiple translations ensured, but also much less effort and time is required for its translations than for those of its competitors.

Currently, NoBabel is available for several languages, such as, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Since it is easy to add language pairs with NoBabel technology, more can and will be quickly added as required.
