NoBabel Enhancer – Total Leveraging

NoBabel Enhancer proves significant value to translators

TORONTO, Canada, October 1, 2009 – KCSL Inc. announced today that it has completed a study that investigated the benefits of using NoBabel Enhancer, its Total leveraging product, and shared TMs from the TAUS Data Association (TDA).

This detailed study engaged 15 translators to objectively review the Machine Translations (MTs) generated by NoBabel Enhancer from the available data for:

Quality; and,
Reduction in times to perform post-editing using them.

Five scenarios were analyzed. These ranged from a scenario using only human translations to scenarios using NoBabel’s Total leveraging applied to merged TMs from 5 TDA members.

The results of the study clearly show that using TMs results in:

Higher quality translations than using human translations alone;
Time and production cost savings over human translation alone;
Greater time and production cost savings with Total leveraging than with Legacy leveraging; and,
Even more time and production cost savings by using Total leveraging and additional TMs together.
