KCSL Announces Further Upgrades to NoBabel Translator

TM Analyzer and Scrubber now available

TORONTO, Canada, November 10, 2008 – KCSL Inc. announced further upgrades of its NoBabel™ Translator Suite. The upgrade includes the addition to the Suite of NoBabel Analyzer for analyzing and grading existing TMs and NoBabel Scrubber for cleaning existing TMs.

Unprecedented demand for the NoBabel AutoAligner resulted in many customers requesting additional information about their TMs, including their quality. KCSL utilized its technologies to create two new products, unique to the Translation industry:

NoBabel Analyzer grades existing TMs. It ends the uncertainty about TM quality, by evaluating and ranking the TMs.

NoBabel Scrubber cleans existing TMs. It is ideal for cleaning the large volumes of parallel data used by Advanced Leveraging and Statistical Machine Translation (SMT) Systems.

A Language Service Provider (LSP) when contacted about the new tools, commented, "KCSL continually thinks outside the box and produces software before people know that they need it. Here again are tools, the Scrubber and Analyzer, that will give me a leg up on all my competition."

"The importance of these products to LSPs goes without saying." said Meier Deutsch, Vice President, Sales & Alliances. "LSPs have been looking for an easy and quick way to grade and clean TMs supplied by prospects and clients. NoBabel Analyzer provides an unbiased assessment of that input and NoBabel Scrubber removes redundant and illegitimate TUs from the TMs."

Both products are available through the NoBabel Professional Services Group or as part of an on-site NoBabel server implementation. A Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) version will be made available in Q3 2009.
