Having uploaded the document(s), and decided whether to have an External TM used in your enhancement job you can now upload the TM you want enhanced.

Project/Job Info

The box at the top of many pages has details about the TM enhancement project/job. On this page, it displays the project name, type of Enhancer project, and document (source) language selected. Supported Language Pairs NoBabel Enhancer supports all English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish (EFIGS) bidirectional language pairs.   Also it supports in both directions English paired with: Dutch Polish Portuguese Russian Arabic Chinese Japanese Korean

The source and target languages of the TM must be 1 of the supported language pairs.

The NoBabel system automatically determines the source and target languages of uploaded TMs.

Zip files can contain only 1 TM.

Supported File Formats

The TM File formats that the Enhancer supports are:

·          .tmx

·          .txt

·          .zip

Zip files can contain only 1 TM and it must be in 1 of the supported formats.

Upload TM File

Password Protected Files cannot be processed.

The TM File cannot be more than 50 megabytes. To do a project with larger TM Files you must run an Enhancer Advanced project.

The source and target languages of the TM must be 1 of the supported language pairs.

The NoBabel system automatically determines the source and target languages of uploaded TM Files.

The TM must be in 1 of the supported formats.

Zip files can contain only 1 TM.

To upload a TM File begin by clicking the "Browse" button and a "Choose File" popup window will appear. Then search for and select the TM File you wish to upload. Click "Open" or double click on the selected TM File, either of which will input the File and close the popup window.

TM Format

From the dropdown menu select the TM Format for the TM File you are uploading, either Trados Workbench 7.x, Trados Workbench 2.x-6.x, TMX 1.4 or TMX 1.4b. The Enhancer TM, that is, the new improved TM generated by the Enhancer’s processing of the original uploaded TM, will be in the same format you select here. To finish uploading the TM File and proceed, click the "Next" button.

If any problem is encountered during the uploading process a message stating what the problem is will be shown.

Step 3 → Step 4:  Uploading TM

While the uploading of your TM File is being completed a progress bar is displayed. Once this task is finished your project will proceed automatically to “Step 4:  Review and Submit Job”.
