With NoBabel Enhancer Basic you can create a project and then upload and run its document(s) and related TM only once. That is, with a Basic project you can do only 1 job.

An Enhancer Basic project progresses through 6 steps using an existing TM and document(s) in the same language as that TM's source language to generate the new improved TM. With the Enhancer you will get Total Leveraging of your TM. The more closely the new document(s) and TM are related, and the more extensive the TM, the better the new TUs will be and the more useful in translating the document(s).

You do not need to remain logged on to the NoBabel system while your job is being processed. To access your project after it has been created, in the Side Menu under "Enhancer" click on "Project List". A table with a list of your available Enhancer projects will then be displayed and, in that table, click on the “Open” button for the project.

Please carefully read the information in each step.

Step 1: Project Name

Begin creating your project by entering a name for it. Each project requires a unique name that will identify it from other projects you create. You may have many projects. The NoBabel system will track the progress of each project you open.

Step 2: Upload Document(s)

You can upload document(s) in the same language as the source language of the existing TM you want enhanced for use in the translation of the document(s). From your local file system, you can upload 1 document or 1 zipped set of documents, provided all the documents in the zip file are in the same language.

Step 3: Upload TM

Your own related TM and/or an External TM, that is a TM not supplied by you, can be used in the processing of your TM enhancement job. A related TM’s source language must be the same language as the language of the document(s) to be translated and also, its content should be similar to that of the document(s). From your local file system, you can upload the TM you want enhanced.

Step 4: Review and Submit Job

You can review the details of your Enhancer Basic project before deciding whether to run it. The Document Name identifies the document(s) you uploaded while the TM Name identifies the TM you uploaded and want enhanced for use in the translation of the document(s). You can request that the NoBabel system e-mail you when your enhancement job is completed.

Step 5: Purchase Enhancer TM

You are provided with information about the new Enhancer TM generated, including the savings achieved and price. You can purchase the Enhancer TM or you can close or delete the project.

Step 6: Download Purchased Enhancer TM

You can download the Enhancer TM you purchased.
