NoBabel™ Enhancer Advanced User Guide

Project Name

To begin your enhancement job, you must enter a name to identify your project.

Use a name that will help you to distinguish between this project and other projects.

Project Names can contain only letters, digits, hyphens (-) and underscores (_). They cannot include spaces.

Once you have entered the Project Name you may, if you like, enter a brief description of your project.

You must select the type of project to proceed.

Project Description

You can enter a brief description that will help you differentiate this project from others created by you.

Project Type

You can create 2 types of Enhancer Advanced projects, Common having document(s) to be translated in only 1

of the supported languages(1 Source Language) and Mixed having document(s) to be translated in 1 or more of the

supported languages (1 or more Source Languages).

For both, the source language of the TM you want enhanced must be the same language as the language of the

document(s) you want translated using it, while its target language must be a language to which you want  the

document(s) translated.

Both Common and Mixed projects can have 1 or more Target Languages.

Advanced Common Project – The default type of project is "Advanced Common", that is, a project with

document(s) to be translated, for example, from English to French, German, and Japanese or from

German to Spanish. If your project conforms to this scenario, leave the top radio button activated,

Advanced – Common (1 Source Language)”.

Advanced Mixed Project – An "Advanced Mixed" type of project is a project with the document(s) to be

translated, for example, from English and Spanish to French, German and Japanese or from English and

Spanish to Japanese. If your project conforms to this scenario, you should select the lower radio button,

“b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal">Advanced – Mixed (1 or more Source Languages)”.

Though you can use a Mixed project when all the documents to be translated are in only 1 language, this

is not recommended.

It is recommended that for projects having the documents to be translated in the same:

  • 1 language a Common project be used.
  • 2 or more languages an Advanced project be used.

After you have entered the Project Name and selected the Project Type, to proceed to the Project Management page for

this project, click the “Next” button.

If any problem is encountered, a message stating what the problem is will be shown.

Creating Project   Running Project via Project Management

Once a name and type of Enhancer project have been successfully entered for the project, it will proceed automatically

to the “Project Management” page for this project where, using its sections, you can upload documents and TMs, run

TM enhancement jobs, and purchase and download Enhancer TMs.
