NoBabel™ Enhancer Advanced User Guide

Help – Advanced Project

There are several different ways by which you are helped to understand what the Enhancer Advanced does and how to best use it.

Accessing the Enhancer Advanced User Guide

The Enhancer Advanced User Guide explains, step by step, how to run NoBabel Enhancer Advanced projects.

When you are not in the NoBabel Product pages, you can access the Guide by in either the Side Menu or the Top Menu clicking first on “User Guides” and then on “Enhancer Advanced”.

When you are in the Enhancer Project pages to access it, in the Side Menu under "Enhancer" click on "Help – Advanced Project".  A popup window will open with the Enhancer Advanced User Guide in it.

You can also access the Guide, when you are in the Enhancer Project pages, by in the Side Menu under “Enhancer” clicking on “Introduction”. On the “Introduction to NoBabel Enhancer” page click on “Enhancer Advanced User Guide” in the sentence, “For the Enhancer Guides see Enhancer Basic User Guide and Enhancer Advanced User Guide.”

Once the Guide is opened, you can access different pages of it by clicking in the Menu on the pages.

Accessing the Enhancer Advanced Project Pages

When you log in you are taken directly to the NoBabel “Product Selection” page.

To begin, click on “Enhancer” in the Side Menu or on the “Product Selection” page on the “Enhancer” button in the section below the introduction to Product Selection. You will then be taken to the “Introduction to NoBabel Enhancer” page.

Creating and Accessing an Enhancer Advanced Project

Before you begin your first Enhancer Advanced project we recommend you carefully read the Enhancer Advanced User Guide or at least the “Overview of a NoBabel Enhancer Advanced Project” page, either the one in this User Guide or the one in the Enhancer Project pages.

When you are in the Enhancer pages, to access the “Overview of a NoBabel Enhancer Advanced Project” page in the Side Menu under “Enhancer” click on “Advanced Project Overview” or at the bottom of the “Introduction to NoBabel Enhancer” page click on “here” in the sentence, “To begin an Advanced project, click here.”

Also, when you are in the Enhancer Project pages, you can begin an Enhancer Advanced project by in the Side Menu under “Enhancer” clicking on “Create Advanced Project”.

To access your Enhancer Advanced project after it has been created, in the Side Menu under "Enhancer" click on "Project List". A table with a list of your available Enhancer projects will then be displayed and, in that list, click on the “Open” button for the project.

Help Icon Help

As you are using the Enhancer Advanced if you require help understanding any of the Enhancer Advanced Project pages, you can click on the Help icon in the title bar at the top of most pages and you will be taken to the relevant page in the Enhancer Advanced User Guide. You can also click on the Help icon that you will see next to many commands and functions and a popup will appear with information to help you.

Help Messages

As you progress through an Enhancer Advanced project different Help Messages are automatically given by the NoBabel system. Some messages confirm that a task has been successfully completed while others provide a warning or caution or inform you that a problem has been detected. Some messages also suggest what you can do to overcome the difficulty.

Support

After you log into the Enhancer Product pages when you click in the Side Menu on “Support” you are taken to the “Support” page which contains the information you require to obtain Enhancer Advanced help, and general NoBabel help too, by mail, fax, phone, and e-mail.

Before you log into the Product pages when you click on “Contact Us” in the Top Menu you are taken to the “Contact Us” page which also contains the information you require to obtain Enhancer Advanced help, and general NoBabel help too, by mail, fax, phone, and e-mail.

Deleted Files Cannot Be Recovered

Whenever you choose, you can delete uploaded documents and TMs, individual jobs of a job group, whole job groups, Enhancer generated TMs, purchased Enhancer TMs, downloaded Enhancer TMs, and even entire Enhancer Advanced projects.

However, since deleted files cannot be recovered, before you delete an Enhancer job and/or project we recommend that if you want to retain any Enhancer TM(s) purchased from the job/project that you save the TM(s). If you erroneously delete a job and/or project you will have to recreate it from the beginning.

Deleted Uploaded Document(s) and TM(s) – If you erroneously delete uploaded document(s) and TM(s) from an available project you will have to upload them again.

Deleted Job from an Available Project – If you erroneously delete an individual job or a job group from an available project you will have to recreate the individual job and/or job group and run the job again. If the document(s) and/or TM(s) required have been deleted and so are not available, the document(s) and/or TM(s) will first have to be uploaded again.

Deleted Job from a Deleted Project – If you erroneously delete an individual job or a job group from a project you subsequently delete, you will have to recreate from the beginning first the project and then the job.

Deleted Uncompleted and Completed Projects –If you erroneously delete a project you will have to recreate it from the beginning. When you delete a project the uploaded document(s) and TM(s), the job group(s), individual job(s), the Enhancer generated TM(s), and the purchased Enhancer TM(s), whether downloaded or not, are all deleted.

Deleted Enhancer TM Purchased from an Available Individual Job – If you erroneously delete any purchased Enhancer TM, whether downloaded or not, from an available individual job you can access and download the TM again.

Deleted Enhancer TM Purchased from a Deleted Individual Job – If you erroneously delete an Enhancer TM, whether downloaded or not, purchased from a deleted individual job, from an available project, you can recreate the TM by running that individual job again from the beginning.  If the document(s) and/or TM(s) required have been deleted and so are not available, the document(s) and/or TM(s) will first have to be uploaded again. However, if the Enhancer TM was from a deleted project you will have to recreate from the beginning, first the project, then the individual job, and finally, the erroneously deleted Enhancer TM.

Deleted Enhancer TM Purchased from an Available Project – If you erroneously delete an Enhancer TM, whether downloaded or not, purchased from an available project, you can access and download the TM again if it is from an available individual job. However, if the Enhancer TM was from a deleted individual job you will have to recreate the TM by running that job again. If the document(s) and/or TM(s) required have been deleted and so are not available, the document(s) and/or TM(s) will first have to be uploaded again.

Deleted Enhancer TM Purchased from a Deleted Project – If you erroneously delete an Enhancer TM, whether downloaded or not, purchased from a deleted project, you will have to recreate from the beginning, first the project, then the individual job, and finally, the erroneously deleted Enhancer TM.

Logging Out While Running Enhancer Advanced Jobs

Since NoBabel Enhancer Advanced runs completely on our servers, your computer resources will not be used and you are free to log out and log back in at any time. Logging out while you have jobs running will not cause them to stop.
