NoBabel Enhancer Output Files

For each individual TM enhancement job NoBabel Enhancer’s processing of your TM(s) generates 1

Enhancer TM, which can be downloaded as any or all of “Total”, “Best Quality”, “High Quality”,

“Medium Quality” and/or the “Zip File” of these 4 files. The “NoBabel Enhancer Output Files” section

contains links to these.

File to Download

From the dropdown menu you can select for downloading some or all of the NoBabel Output Files

generated by the Enhancer.

Total – This file is intended for users who prefer in their projects to use a single TM rather than multiple

TMs. It includes all Best, High, and Medium Quality Enhancer TUs as well as TUs from the

original TM(s) supplied by the user. The individual TUs have quality fields that allow penalties to be

applied to them. For the convenience of Trados users, the TUs are labeled “ALIGN!” which indicates

 Best Quality and High Quality TUs and “MT!” which indicates Medium Quality TUs. The “LegacyTM”

label indicates TUs from the original TM that were ranked as 100% and as such did not require any

enhancement by NoBabel.

Best Quality – This file includes only the "best" Enhancer TUs that typically can be used "as is" or with

only very minor corrections.

High Quality – This file includes "high" quality Enhancer TUs that typically require only minor corrections.

Medium Quality– This file includes Enhancer TUs that are typically of lower quality than the Best and

High Quality TUs.

Zip File – As the name implies, this is a zip file of the 4 NoBabel Enhancer Output Files, “Total”,

“Best Quality”, “High Quality”, and “Medium Quality”.

Download Output Files

To download 1 of the Enhancer generated NoBabel Output Files, in the dropdown menu select that

Output File and then click on “Download”. A “File Download” popup window will open and to respond to

the question, “Do you want to open or save this file?”, you have 3 choices.

If you select “Open” a window will open displaying the File.

If you select “Save” a “Save As” window will open allowing you to save the File wherever you wish.

If you select “Cancel” the “File Download” popup window will close without the File being downloaded.

Enhancer TM Summary

For the Enhancer TM from this Individual Job, the “Enhancer TM Summary” section displays the project

name, type of Enhancer Advanced project, Job Group ID, Individual Job ID, source language, target

language, document name, TM name(s), when it was completed, the processing time, whether an External

TM was used, the Weighted Word Savings, and price.

Project Name – The name you gave the project is displayed.

Project Type –The kind or type of NoBabel Enhancer project is displayed

Job Group ID – The Job Group ID, a unique number assigned by the NoBabel system to the 1 or more

individual jobs submitted together, is displayed.

Individual Job ID – The Individual Job ID, a unique number assigned by the NoBabel system to this 1

job of the job group, is displayed.

Source Language – The source language of this individual job’s new enhanced TM, which is the same

as that of the original TM(s) and also the language of the document(s) to be translated using it, is displayed.

Target Language – The target language of this individual job’s new enhanced TM, which is the same as

that of the original TM(s) and also the language to which the document(s) are to be translated using it, is

displayed.

Document Name – The name of the Document File used for this individual job is displayed.

TM Name – The name(s) of the TM File(s) used for this individual job are displayed.

Completed – The time this individual job was completed is displayed.

Processing Time –The length of time used to process this individual job is displayed.

External TM Used – Whether or not an External TM was used in the processing of this individual job is

displayed.

Weighted Word Savings – The Weighted Word Savings for this individual job are displayed. Expressed

as a percentage and number of words, Weighted Word Savings is the difference between the number of

weighted words you would have to translate using only your TM(s) and the number of weighted words you

have to translate using both your TM(s) and the NoBabel Enhancer TM.

Price – The price of the purchased Enhancer TM is shown. You are charged for the difference between

the number of weighted words you would have to translate using only your TM(s) and the number of

weighted words you have to translate when using both your TM(s) and the NoBabel Enhancer TM. The

cost of each additional weighted word in every purchased Enhancer TM is $0.02 US Dollars.

Analysis of NoBabel Enhancer Productivity Gain

The “Analysis of NoBabel Enhancer Productivity Gain” section displays statistics pertaining to NoBabel

productivity gains in relation to baseline leverage values performed by an industry-standard Trados-type

pre-translation.

Legacy and NoBabel Columns – The “Legacy” column shows the degree of matching achieved using a

Trados product. The “NoBabel” column shows the number of matches in each percentage range that

NoBabel Enhancer has created. Typically, you will see improvements in the 85%-94% range, the

95%-99% range, and the 100% range. The number of matches in the lower ranges will typically decrease.

Weighted Words – Weighted Words is the number of words determined by totaling the words in all

categories, with little or no weight being given to Context TM, Repetitions, 100% and "High Fuzzies" and

up to the full weight being given to "Low Fuzzies" and No Match.

Savings – Savings shows you the percentage of weighted words saved when only your TM(s) are used

and when both your TM(s) and the NoBabel Enhancer TM are used.

If you click on the “Back” button, at the bottom of the page, you will be taken back to the “Download

Enhancer TMs Purchased from the Job Group” page. On that page by clicking in the “Purchased Enhancer

TMs” table on the relevant “Download” button you can access and download purchased Enhancer TMs from

other individual jobs in the job group.

Project Management

If you click on the “Project Management” button at the bottom of the page, you will be taken to the

Project Management “Download Purchased Enhancer TMs” section. By clicking on the relevant “Open”

button in the “Purchased Jobs” table you can access and download the Enhancer TM(s) purchased

from the other job group(s) in the project.

From the “Download Enhancer TM Purchased from an Individual Job” page you can access and

download the Enhancer TM you purchased from this individual job of the job group.

Or, you can leave this individual job and return later to download the Enhancer TM you purchased

from it.

If you leave the job, you can later access its “Download Enhancer TM Purchased from an Individual

Job” page by, in the Project Management “Download Purchased Enhancer TMs” section, clicking in

the “Purchased Jobs” table on the “Open” button for the relevant job group. Clicking on this

button will take you to its “Download Enhancer TMs Purchased from the Job Group” page from

where you can access this Enhancer TM as well as any other Enhancer TM you previously

purchased from an individual job of this job group.

If you leave the project, and not just the job, you can later return to the project and access and

download the Enhancer TM purchased from this individual job, by in the Side Menu under

“Enhancer” clicking on Project List. A table with a list of your available Enhancer projects will

then be displayed and, in that list, click on the “Open” button for this project.
