Project Management: Check Job Status and Purchase
Enhancer TMs
NoBabel processes
your jobs one at a time. After the TM enhancement job group has been
successfully
submitted, you can view its status on the NoBabel system in this
“Project Management” page section,
which shows queued, running and completed
jobs.
Once the job group
is completed, it will be moved automatically from the “Running Jobs” table to
the
“Completed Jobs” table. Before deciding whether to purchase the new Enhancer
TM(s) you can review
information about the TM generated by the Enhancer for each
individual job of the job group, including savings
achieved and price. You do
not have to purchase every Enhancer TM from the job group. You only have to
purchase Enhancer TMs you deem to be worthwhile. And so, you can choose not to purchase any
Enhancer TMs or you can purchase the Enhancer TM from 1 or more individual jobs
of the job group.
If no problems are
encountered during the submission of your job a message stating that it has been
successfully submitted will be displayed. If any problem is encountered a
message stating what the problem
is will be shown.
Running Jobs
The “Running Jobs”
table lists all the job groups currently being run for this project. It displays
the Job Group
ID, when the job was created, its status on the NoBabel system,
and the estimated time to completion. Also,
for each job there is a “Delete”
button.
Job Group ID – The Job Group ID,
a unique number assigned by the NoBabel system to the 1 or more
individual jobs
submitted together, is displayed.
Created – The date and time
when the job group was created is displayed.
Status – For each job
group, its current status on the NoBabel system is displayed. NoBabel processes
your jobs one at a time.
Estimated Time to Completion – If the NoBabel
system has not yet begun to process the job it will show
that it is queued. Once the system has begun processing
the job group the estimated time to its completion
will be displayed. You may
wait or you may leave and return later to check on the progress of this task.
If you leave the
job but not the project, once the job is completed, you can resume it by
clicking on the
“Open” button for it in “Completed Jobs” table in the Project
Management “Check Job Status and Purchase
Enhancer TMs” section.
If you leave the
job and the project, to resume the job later, in the Side Menu under “Enhancer”
click on
“Project List”. A table with list of your available Enhancer projects
will then be displayed and, in that list,
click on the “Open” button for this
project and its “Project Management page” will open. On that page click
on the
“Check Job Status and Purchase Enhancer TMs” blue bar and, then, in that section
you can check
the “Running Jobs” and “Completed Jobs” tables to see the status
of the job. Once the job is completed, you
can resume it by clicking on the
“Open” button for it in the “Completed Jobs” table.
Delete – If you have changed your mind about running a job you can delete it by
clicking on the relevant
“Delete” button. Remember that, “Deleted Files Cannot Be Recovered.”
If you erroneously delete a
running job from an available project you can
recreate the job by running it again, that is, if the document(s)
and TM(s) you
need for it have not been deleted and so are still available.
Completed Jobs
The “Completed
Jobs” table lists all available completed job groups in this project. It
displays the Job Group
ID and when the job was completed. Also, for each job
group there is a link to the “Purchase the Enhancer
TM from Individual Jobs of
the Job Group” page and a “Delete” button.
Job Group ID – The Job Group ID, a unique number assigned by the NoBabel system to the 1 or more
individual jobs submitted together, is displayed.
Completed – The date and time the job group was completed is displayed.
Purchase Enhancer TMs
–For each job
group when you click on the “Open” button for it you are taken to
its “Purchase
the Enhancer TM from Individual Jobs of the Job Group” page where, before
purchasing any
TMs, you can view detailed information about the Enhancer TM
generated for each individual job of the job
group. You do not have to purchase
every Enhancer TM from a job group.
Since you only have to purchase
Enhancer TMs you deem to be worthwhile,
you can choose not to purchase any
Enhancer TMs or
you can purchase the Enhancer TM from 1 or more individual jobs
of the job group.
Delete – If you definitely do not wish to ever purchase any of the Enhancer generated
TMs from a completed
job group click on the relevant “Delete” button and the job
group and the Enhancer TM from each
of its
individual jobs will be deleted. Remember that, “Deleted Files Cannot Be Recovered.” If you erroneously
delete a completed
job from an available project you can recreate the job and its enhanced TMs by
running the job again, that is, if the document(s) and TM(s) you need for it
have not been deleted and so are still
available.
