NoBabel™ AutoAligner User Guide

With the language detection and word count task completed, you can review the uploaded documents and determine which language pair(s) you want analyzed.

The "Project Summary" box at the top of most pages has miscellaneous information about the project. On this page, it has only the project's name.

Above the "Uploaded Documents" table the Number of Documents processed for this job is displayed. The table displays the Language, Name and Number of Words for each document. Review this information to ensure that all desired documents have been uploaded.

You can reorder the table contents by clicking on the relevant column heading, "Language," "Document Name" and "Number of Words".

In the bottom left corner of this table it shows how many uploaded documents are currently being displayed. If your project has more than 10 documents you can navigate between pages by clicking on the page numbers in the bottom right corner of this table.

Above the "Language Summary" table the Number of Languages processed for this job is displayed. The table displays the Number of Documents and Number of Words for each processed language.

You can reorder the table contents by clicking on the relevant column heading, "Language", "Number of Documents", and "Number of Words".

All detected language pairs are listed. The AutoAligner can create TMs with either language of a given pair as the source with the other being the corresponding target. Both directions for each pair are unchecked by default. To select the direction you want, check the respective checkbox. If you wish to have both, check both boxes. As well as selecting language pairs individually you may select and/or unselect all of them at once by clicking on "Select All" or "Select None" above the top right corner of the table.

If you would like to be notified when the alignment job is completed check the checkbox. An e-mail will be sent to the address shown or if you prefer to use a different e-mail address you may do so by deleting the e-mail address usually associated with your NoBabel Account and then entering a temporary address in the same space.

You have 3 choices. If you wish to proceed to the next step, select "Analyze Documents and Generate Reports". If you wish to change the documents used for the job, select "Add and/or Delete Documents". If you wish to temporarily leave the project at this step, select "Close Project", which will take you to "Project List". Once you have selected the choice you prefer by clicking the radio button beside it, click "Next" to continue.

The AutoAligner analyzes the selected documents and generates reports for the selected languages. During this time a progress indicator and the estimated time to completion is displayed. You may wait or you may log out and log in later to check on the progress of this task. If you log out, to resume your project when you log in later in the Side Menu under "AutoAligner" click on "Project List". A list of your available AutoAligner projects will then be displayed and, in that list, click on the "Open" button for this project.

Once the analysis and report generation is completed your project will proceed automatically to "Step 4:  Purchase TM(s)".
