Your Account Page

After you have logged into NoBabel, you will be able to access information about your account by clicking on the "Account" link in the left-hand navigation panel. This will cause the "NoBabel Account" menu to expand. The "Change Password" page will load by default.

Click on the "Account Information" link to view detailed information about your account. The "Payment" link loads new pages from which you can purchase more NoBabel credit. The "Payment History" link displays your prior purchases.

The "AutoAligner Purchases" link displays a list of AutoAligner jobs that you have purchased, and the "Enhancer Purchases" link does the same for Enhancer jobs.

Click on the "Account Information" link to load the Account Information page.

The Account page is divided into a number of sections, each providing a different type of information about your account.

Account Information

The "Account Information" section provides basic user information. Currently the only type of account available to the public is a "Full" account. As corporations begin to adopt NoBabel into their work flow processes, additional account types will become available.

There is currently no time limitation on NoBabel accounts. In the future, certain account types may become subject to expiry after a particular length of time.

Translation Job Credit

When you register, we provide you with the opportunity to test NoBabel free of charge by giving your account a starting credit balance. As you use NoBabel, your account will be depleted in proportion to the amount of translation purchased. The current prices are as follows:

• NoBabel TM Enhancer - US$ 0.02 per weighted word created, as compared with an industry-standard fuzzy match analysis;
• NoBabel AutoAligner - US$ 0.02 per translation unit created.

When your account balance reaches zero, you will need to refill before NoBabel will provide you with further processing results. Click the "Payment" button to connect with the PayPal payment system. For more information see the Payment topic.

Enhancer Space Management

By default, each NoBabel user is assigned a discreet section on the NoBabel server consisting of 1 GB for translation memory files and 1 GB for document files. These values are listed in the "Enhancer Space Management" field, and is specifically allocated for usage with the Enhancer.

As TM and document files are uploaded and projects run, the allotted space will become used up. Available remaining space in each category is also listed in the Space Management section.

Users may keep up to 20 Enhancer projects in their space at any given time.

Aligner Space Management

In addition to the space allocated for the Enhancer, users are provided with 100 MB for usage with the AutoAligner. The limit on concurrent alignment projects is 5.

E-mail Address

The address listed in the "E-mail Address" section is where NoBabel email notifications will be sent. If you wish to change your email address to a different one, just type the new address into the "E-mail Address:" field and then click the "Save E-mail" button.
